St. Cloud, Florida April 6, 2018


(It is my dad's birthday) 🍩🕯

We are in St. Cloud looking for it.

Where could it be?

Finally we found it. On the right of the road.

Since December I had waited for this.

I saw the sign.

I smiled.

I was about to have a fun time

Side Note: "It" was a

Serpentarium!!!


That is also where next blog takes place but....

Not in St. Cloud.

Ok, back to the story

We go in

and I am amazed by the snake shop.

They have everything snake related. They even had snakes for sale!

So we walk past the snake shop and there are turtles! We look at them for about five minutes, turn around and see a cute box turtle. We walk to the left and se lots of reptiles lizards, iguanas, crocodiles,and an alligator and a few birds.

Then we come back to the turtles and see a hall.... a hall of.... snakes?Yes!!!! A King Cobra (with a wooden eye) A few more cobras Two (Two!!!!!) Black mambas. Two green mambas. A lot of pythons. An array of rattlesnakes. and a fer-de-lance no just kidding, no fer-de-lances.  I held a milk snake. Although I was horribly scared it was a coral snake.

Side Note: The "snake" is a towel.
                  Somebody might have said "Look at that snake over there!".

                                 I have never touched a snake, much less hold one.
                                  I wasn't about to let a python constrict me!!!!!!

Snakes 2, here we go
   

               1.Australia is the only continent where venomous snakes actually outnumber the non-venomous ones.
              2.The Boa Constrictor is the only living animal which is commonly known by its full Latin name, boa constrictor. The only other example is the extinct Tyrannosaurus Rex.
              3.On April 1, 2007, Google sent an email to its employees warning that a python was loose in its New York Office. It was not a joke.
              4.The decapitated head of a dead snake can still bite hours after death. Because dead snakes can't regulate how much venom they inject, such bites can often contain large amounts of venom.
              

              5.Ball pythons are treated with great care when they happen to wander into a Nigerian village. They are allowed to roam freely or gently picked up and placed out in a forest or field. If    one is accidentally killed, many towns build a coffin for the snake's remains and give it a short funeral.

               6. Many snakes are venomous, the Tiger Keelback Snake is the only snake species that is also poisonous. They sequester toxins from poisonous toads they eat and ooze it out of glands on     the backs of their necks.

               7. An Inland Taipan in the world is the most venomous snake in the world. One dose can  kill 289 people. Second place can kill 65. By comparison, the Indian King Cobra can kill ten.

               8.King Cobras aren't actually true cobras and are called that because their diet consists of other snakes, including cobras  .

Tooth Blog

So, I have a friend. I know, right shocking! But, She lost her tooth. In a very unusual way. Me. The way was hilarious. Pinch Ow. Pinch Ouch, Stop that. Pinch Wa Wa Wa Wa. Whats wrong? {In between sobs } You You You. What?  My tooth Aaaah. So then I take off her glasses and Boom!
they're gone. What you do with my glasses? Uh,Uh. I get up and then I realize something. We are moving! AAAAAAAAAH. Bus Driver, help me out here. So we get to the REC, and I find her glasses. (I totally wasn't sitting on them by the way.) They're not broken, so that's good. Code red-Blood everywhere. So we get to the Rec. We eat a bagel. Hey, Colton my tooth just fell out. Cool.

Snakes

  Snakes... where do I begin? Oh yeah, if you don't like snakes this might not be the blog for you. Now that we got pretty much half the world out of the way. (It's actually more than 50%, its 51%). But nobody reads my blogs anyway. {Intensive Crying} So... if you are still here I'm pretty much going to go on a rant about snakes.


1./2. Black Mambas the fastest snake in the world and because we are so original at coming up with names, the Black Mamba is actually grey and sometimes green. But there is some logic to it's name. It gets it's name from the inky black inside their mouths.

3. The King Cobra is the largest venomous snake in the world growing up to be 18 feet long.

4. The longest snake ever recorded was a reticulated python named Medusa. She was 25 feet 2 inches.

 5. The longest snake ever living is named... Titanoboa. It is as huge as 48 feet, and weighs 1 and 1/2   tons (3000 lbs.!)!

In Missouri 2016

So around Columbus Day I went to Missouri for a wedding. It was a fun, long trip. We saw the Arch, watched movies and listened to  awesome music. We stayed in the Comfort Inn Hotel in Festus. It had awesome breakfast and awesome room service. I remember watching a Bill Nye about spiders right before the wedding. The hotel had such a cold refrigerator it froze my Sunny D! Those things are hard to freeze! It also had an awesome fitness center. That I only used once. What a terrible tragedy that was. I had a awful white board in the car that kept falling apart (No offense Nana) The wedding reception was sort of fun. It had Coke. (There should be a Bill Nye about coke).
